Graham Partners is a private equity firm that focuses on acquiring and investing in privately held middle-market industrial companies. MobilVox assisted Graham Partners developing a thorough business and mobile technology research and due diligence analysis. Graham Partners needed to study the technology implications on a M&A (Merger & Acquisition) transaction for one of their clients. MobilVox performed the following tasks in order to accomplish the desired objectives:
Technology research and evaluation:
- MobilVox professionals met with several of Graham Partners' client representatives and started getting familiar with their wireless product line and technology
- MobilVox reviewed the business plan, specifically the marketing strategy, and the financial projections to assess the need for the technology and to account for accurate projections
- MobilVox technologists review the product line process and schedule for delivery of their new release of hardware and software
Final report and recommendation:
- Evaluated alternative technologies and prepared a matrix to depict strong competitive areas
- Performed market research and studied the future of said wireless technology
- Preparation of a final report with detailed recommendations
